I truly believe that time flies to the end of the school year once we pass March Break.
I can't believe I'm typing up weekly plans for the middle of April already!
These past few weeks have been a little interrupted with Easter and then the solar eclipse which made them shorter weeks at school so you will notice we didn't change too many centres around our classroom this week.
The sensory bin was probably THE most popular centre we had!
Here's a look at our centres this week:
What can you build using metal parts?
Can you create a flower arrangement?
Can you make perfume using dried flowers?
(These are the tulips that we painted a few weeks ago!)
The last couple of weeks our focus in math was on addition and students learned how to use these addition mats to help them solve simple equations. We left them out for students to try on their own! There are pink and blue questions (more challenging!).
With our fine motor small group we will be using clothespins to pick up and sort various sizes of pom poms.
Our students love playing sight word games so I created a new one perfect for spring!
This week (and next) our focus in math is subtraction.
We will be working in small groups playing these games!
Here are my weekly plans if you'd like to download!

The original blank PowerPoint file has been uploaded onto Google Slides but the formatting has changed.
